The Great American Bake Sale October 31, 2009 Greenville Saturday Market on Main Street For more information: email confectionconnect@yahoo.com Thank you for offering to assist in the fight to stop hunger by donating baked goods to “The Great American Bake Sale” sponsored by Domino Sugar, Sandra Lee and the Food Network and hosted by The Confection Connection of the Upstate, the areas leading sugar art organization. The following is a list of suggested guidelines to keep in mind when preparing your food. Bake goods need to be wrapped appropriately. Wrapped tightly in plastic on a sturdy disposable plate, Ziploc bags, gift tins etc. Please keep in mind appearance matters. The better the presentation the more will be sold. Please keep in mind that items can not be refrigerated and they will likely need to be stacked for storage and transport. Items need to labeled with name and /or short description. Pricing will be handled by members of the Confection Connection. Individual items should be packaged in small sellable quantities such as 2, 6, or 12 (i.e. cookies or brownies). Cakes, pies etc. will be sold as one unit. 4. Suggested items: *nut breads/cinnamon rolls *pies *cookies *cobblers *brownies *muffins *cakes *cupcakes Please bring your donation to St. Michaels Episcopal Church (1200 Powdersville Rd. Easley) on Thursday, October 29, 2009 between 4-6pm. If you can not make this time please call (864)859- 4252 to schedule another drop off time. Remember that 1 in 8 Americans; men, women and children, suffer from hunger. THANK YOU for your support in helping to feed America!!!
